Hullabaloo in the Gauva Orchard ( Book )

Written by Kiran Desai
A mad imaginative world. Everything seems surreal. Putting ones imagination into a page, that is one of the toughest job. And here, even the wildest imagination has been brought on to the page with ease. A marvelous read. It was much better than "Inheritance of Loss".
The story goes like this: A boy who hates the usual milieu runs away from home one day. His job was at the post office. So he had a queer habit of reading others mail before delivery. So when the people of the village find him on top of a tree, they think he has gone mad. But the fun starts when he asks them about their personal life. And the villagers take that he has godly powers. He gets transformed into a sage. Monkey Baba! Now the father of the son comes to perfectly utilize the situation and get some hard cash. And then comes the monkeys and their drinking habits and the resulting hullabaloo...
Fun.
