Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ( E )

Cast: Johnny Depp, Benicio Del Toro
Directed by Terry Gilliam
Based on the book by Hunter S Thompson
A recommendation from Suraj. And I had guessed the theme long back because he had recommended it. The movie goes on about the mad escapades of a journalist ( Johnny Depp ) and his lawyer ( Benicio Del Toro). Both the actors are so synced into their characters, that it is hard to make out that it is really them. Especially, Depp is awesome. Mad and stupid. The story follows the periods between 1960 and 1970 when the American Dream was to get stoned and to get stoned and to get stoned.....and to get stoned. The movie is mad. So watch it only if you are mad. Johnny Depp showed signs of his Captain Jack Sparrow evolving right from here.
