Genre: Drama/Comedy

Directed by P Vasu
The " Chandramukhi " team is back. The remake of the malayalam hit " Katha Parayumbol". Does the remake stand any chance against the sreenivasan starrer. Let's look into it.
The main character in the movie "Katha Parayumbol" was the barber. But, when it comes to Kuselan, the barber is in the background. The mian characters in the movie are Rajni, Nayanthara, and Vadivelu. P Vasu has tried to play it safe by going through the same routine of Superstar power, glamour kick and the comedy routine. So is it safe? No!
It is true that Rajni has portrayed a role that is close to his real life. But this is not what the audience want from him. But the final scenes are marvelous. He has done a brilliant work there. Nayanthara is a complete waste in the movie. She is there just to promote the oomph factor. And she does that. Vadivelu, as usual rocks the set with his comedy lines and walks away with the claps. Now, Pasupathy...in the hulabaloo, the main character is forgotten. Those who have watched his "Veyyil" will say that it is exactly the same emotions that he brings onscreen in this movie. True. But for me, his efforts were superior to that of Sreenivasan's.
So, as usual, the comercial gimmicks overtake the story!
Passe!
