Genre: Fantasy/Action
Cast: Ron Pearlman, Selma Blair
Directed by Guillermo Del Toro
Based on the comic by Mike Mignola
A visual splendour coming from the master storyteller. Visually magnifique but script-wise moderate. While the first movie had a lot of fun elements and the story was a bit more tight, in this one Guillermo has tried to squeeze in a lot of stuffs for the audience to grab in a limited time frame. So all appears cluttered in an audiences mind. So they are left with the only option of walking in the footsteps of the director. You miss something, it is okay...just follow him..you will reach the end.
And regarding the visual matter..am spellbound and I am not talking much about it.
Not a great one. But watch it for Guillermo's creativity.
