Cast: Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Julianne Moore
Directed by The Coen Brothers
A beautiful movie. The Coen Brothers how to make a brilliant story from simple circumstances. The least thought sides of an event may be more apt than simple circumstances for the Coen Brothers stories.
Dude "Lebowski" is a bowling freak. One day two ruffians come to his house demanding him to return the money his wife borrowed from them. But, it is too late when they realise that they are at the wrong place. There is another millionaire who goes by the same name. But, Dude "Lebowski's" rug got messed in the process. And he goes to the millionaire to charge him for that. The story starts from there. A funny movie with a good core.
Coen brothers are always successful in etching a few eccentric characters in their movies. And this movie is no different in those regards. Be it the jokes or characterisations, all are above par and absolutely enjoyable.
